Random

Just felt like posting here, yet I have no idea what's my post gonna be.Hmm.

Life now is just filled with deadlines, deadlines and more deadlines. I need to start studying hard! Play too hard already la.

Anyway, to my friend, I pray for happiness for you. No matter where you are, no matter what you do. Im happy for you, that you have found that someone who is able to give you that happiness and joy. Yet, I still hope the gaping hole will be mended. Someday.

I havent been the best sister, daughter, friend, best friend, classmate, whatever. . but thanks for loving me the same. =)

Wa lau. Such a melachonic post. Nah. Life is good! =)

Viewer Discretion

Another out of the world conversation with my tuition kid again.

Kid : I like the Wonder Woman thing here one. (Encloses his hand around his wrist- referring to the bangle or something)

Me : Orh. (Thinking: Quick! Find homework for him to do and I can go home!)

Kid : Can see the Wonder Woman stomach hor.

Me : (Thinks : Oh no..)

Kid : She here got 2 thing one. . (Proceeds to cup his hands around the 'boob' area - he's referring to the metal plates there eh.)

Me : (*Viewer Discretion*!!) OK! These are your homework!

I wanted to upload a much nicer and clearer pic but blogger seems to be having a problem! Oh well.

On another note, is life really that complicated? Or am I just too simple?

Overloaded

Is it me or is the workload at NUS increasing?? This sem seems to be the sem with the most work and its my last sem too! Slogging before graduation. Bahhh. But I think I might actually feel nostalgic about meeting assignment deadlines when I go out to work. It beats having a boss breathing down your back.

On the other hand, I think its because I was too slack for the other sems la. Waiting till last minute to complete my assignments. So no one else to blame but myself! And I even went for a facial despite having an assignment and proposal uncompleted, and they have to be submitted tomorrow la! Best. -_-

Suddenly feel like going to Bali or Bintan leh. How?! I think Ive been playing too much. Ive no mood to study or do work! And I have tuition later. Im expecting some weird things from my tuition kid. He asks the weirdest things, like all other kids. One example..

Kid : Ay, your hair changed colour!

Me : Ya! Nice right? You prefer this red or the brown I had last time?

Kid : Er.. This one.

Me : Grins.

Kid : But hor, how you change colour? You use marker ah? Your hair got electricity shock ah? That's why red colour issit?

And then he attempts to touch my hair to check if there's electricity.

I seriously think parents are the best in the world.

Fearless



Based on the life of Martial Artsmaster Huo Yuanjia (1868-1910), this biopic is set during the late 1800's to early 1900's, a pivotal period in China's history, when the whole country is shrouded under increasing internal turmoil and the imminent threat of foreign invasion.

Huo Yuanjia begins the story as a cocky, young Martial Arts practitioner with only one thing in his mind, to become the best at his craft at all costs. His quest eventually leads to a tragedy when he mistakenly kills an opponent whose disciples consequently slaughter Huo's whole family for revenge. A distraught and heartbroken Huo flees to the countryside, determined to abandon everything he ever wanted and believed in. He then spends considerable time in a remote mountain village anonymously, where he relearned all the things that matter in life while taking refuge with an old lady and her half blind granddaughter.

He returns to the city to make amends with his turbulent past, and gets swept up in a violent, fight to the death Martial Arts tournament to defend China's honor against foreign aggressors.


The show is great! Loads of fighting, but with the right dose of emotions too. Made me cry! Definitely worth watching ya. All thanks to my parents who recommended the show. Haha..
