New post!

Wow.. it has really been some time since I've came in here! A stranger to my own blog ya.

So many things have changed since.. I have signed on the dotted line, given my commitment to 'someone' whom I'm with for up to 14hrs a day, and for whom I have to give full loads of attention to.

Working life is definitely not a piece of cake. Smile when things are going fine, smile when there's a storm, smile even when all seems 'gone case'. But hey, the smiling do get me somewhere though - taught me a lesson too. The more someone is hostile to you, the best way to counter that is to smile; the ice will thaw sooner or later.

Oh wells, enough about work. Anyways, for any who still pops by here, I have the shortest hair that I've had for 7 years. And i really mean SHORT. Pics another time. For now, its Discovery Channel.

By the way, I MISS MY LONG HAIR!! :(

One Year On..

Yups. Its been one year. Its weird how two opposite poles of a magnet attract.. the wonders of nature. The whole period seems long, yet short. Long in the sense the countup is in years and not months now but short in relevance to a lifetime ahead. An exciting ride is ahead.

Anyways, will be starting on a fresh start in the coming week. I wonder how it is going to be. I always pride myself on having high adaptability but in different environments, it is hard to predict what lies ahead. We'll see. =) And to you momoks, I wont be settling down anytime soon ok?! Come to think about it, its quite scary even for a commitment-giver like me. Haha.

On a lighter and totally lame note, here's something really stupid. Snort.

Grrr.

I seldom complain about things, but this time, I cant hold it back. Humans are really weird people. Like if you know some place is going to be real crowded, and everyone including you is trying to get out of the place, doesnt it makes sense to be considerate and give way when you should? Instead of pushing and insisting your right of way, at least be abit considerate and all of us can move along and get away from the place la. It totally spoils the whole fun of something so spectacular and nice. Singapore is really small. One Fireworks Festival and the whole city area is immobilised because inconsiderate drivers park their cars haphazardly and pedestrians are crossing the roads dangerously.

And. If you are a female driver, good for you. Stand up for yourself and prove to those sexist male drivers that you dont lack the skills they think they have. Better still if you have the ability to own or drive a car. More points if its a nice expensive car. Full marks if you are pretty to boot. But hey, you dont own the road and I dont owe you a living. I pay road tax too. There's no need to point your snot sharp nose at me and act like a prima donna. As far as I remember, its a public road and we are both have the right to use the same space? Gah.

I dont mean to complain so much but these acts really puzzle me on how inconsiderate people can get. Like how a mother could use her kid to push through the crowd and with both shouting 'hot water hot water'! Like hello? We're at the esplanade and not a coffee shop? What hot water??!!

OK, I better stop before a whole list of complaints gush out. Remember, the world is not just about you. A whol series of events can happen just because of a seemingly insignificant act. Just check out the story of 'Crash of the Century'.

Dum Dee Dee Dum

*Cough cough, sniff sniff* Im having such a lung-bursting cough and a marathon running nose, its causing me to have a totally hoarse sexy voice that cracks up in the middle of interviews. Its super embarrassing when Im trying to sell myself and I cant speak with a nice sounding voice. Ugh.

I miss school. I miss the dread-going-to-school-coz-i-cant-sleep-in feeling, the whining that school sucks, the food especially the laksa mian, I miss waking up on my free days and feeling so happy Im free, and I kinda miss the climbing of the ridiculous steps in arts. Helps me lose weight and convince myself I had exercise for the day. I miss the studying, the panicking we always did the night before the deadline, the late late nights, and the zombified mornings. Sighs. There's so many other things I miss.

Yet now, I am going to step into another world. A world unsheltered, a world unfamiliar yet intriuging. And it is in this world I am going to spend the rest of my life in, to invest in and to challenge myself with. Unprepared? Maybe. But the step out of my comfort zone unsettles me yet gives me a buzz. Haha. What a whirl of emotions.

Still, I am going to make sure I will make my parents proud, and me being proud of myself. Its always comforting to know how much support I have, and the love showered. Small fry now but big fry in future. =)

Free! For now.

Graduation's reason to rejoice,
Remembering what lies beyond our ends.
And so yours gives occasion to my voice,
Delighting in the gift of being friends.
Underneath your pleasure is my pride,
As yours remains the rock on which I stand.
The window through which I can see inside
Is hung upon the mirror in your hand.
One cannot be one without the other,

Nor can we be ourselves without another.

Rocky journey it was at times, we have survived and pulled through it together. I love the poem and it pretty much sums up what I want to say. Sometimes, too many words, ironically, arent enough to describe the emotions felt. Cheers.=)

And now, Ive just got entangled in a pretty indulgence.

So pretty! *Grumbles* I need a job fast.

Bienvenue!!

Hahas! Been some time since Ive updated. And since Im extremely free, I decided to change my blog template 'coz I was getting bored with it. But, I cant seem to shift my tagboard to the right and I gave up after 5 secs. *snort* Not very web-saavy eh. And I still have not figured how to use Adobe Photoshop while my pretty sister has got an A for her course on it. *tsk*

Im also pretty lazy to update much now after going through blog templates for like the past 15 mins. Haha. Oh wells. There's a match later and Im more interested in watching C.Ronaldo actually. What attitude problem! I like. *grin*

Of course, not forgetting the most important, many thanks for the birthday wishes! Erm, I do not exactly have everything in the world la. Im short of a job and shopping money now actually. Wahaha. Nevertheless, its already great with you guys and babes in my life now. That's all I need yeh. Things are used and spoilt and thrown but you friends have been through with me thick and thin. And to more crazy times ahead! Hee.

Alritey! Its 3am and Im off!

Loves to you all!
